Preparation of clinic as per current government COVID-19 guidelines

Osteopathic treatment
- Effective infection prevention and control measures in place including personal
protective equipment
Organising a treatment
- Phone or video appointments are available if preferred
- Face to face appointments are available
- New patient case history taken by phone if possible to reduce face to face contact time
- Email or text 24 hours prior to appointment to check COVID-19 status and consent for close contact
During treatment
- On arrival you will be asked to wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser
- Face masks are available or you are welcome to bring your own
- I will be wearing PPE as per General Osteopathic Council guidelines
Between treatments
- There will be 15-30 minute gaps between patient consultations to allow for cleaning
of the treatment room and to ensure patients do not overlap
- All working surfaces, door handles, treatment couch and doorbell will be
washed/disinfected
Exclusions
- Those with symptoms of or confirmed cases of COVID 19 i.e. those self-isolating
- Those self isolating for other reasons i.e. quarantine, surgery or other
